Bowls at Barnack Bowls Club

Social outdoor bowling is planned from Mid-April to Mid-September. The group will meet at thebeautiful surroundings of Barnack Bowls Club. Walcot Road, PE9 3EQ. The exact day and time will fit around the group's preferences.

The group is open to both experienced bowlers and beginners, the club coach will be around to get you started if you have not played before or even if you just want a refresher lesson.

Two games of bowls are played with teams drawn at random, and there is a refreshment break in the middle, so there is plenty of time to socialise along with playing bowls.

Equipment is available to borrow from the club, all they ask is that you wear flat soled shoes on the green.

The cost of the session is £3.00 and complimentary refreshments are provided. Newcomers to the group are offered a free taster session.

Beginners course at Barnack Bowls Club.

Why not join the U3A beginners course at Barnack Bowls Club. All equipment is provided, and all that is required is that you wear flat soled shoes. The course will be run over five weeks of two hours per week and is run by a Bowls England qualified level-2 coach.

The cost of the course is £25per person and includes refreshments plus a follow-up session with club members. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 6 people per course so early booking is essential.
