Timed to avoid the school holiday, and the return of the students, our trip to Oxford offers the chance to explore this world-famous university town.
Oxford is Britain’s oldest university, and it has quadrangles, gothic spires and listed buildings crammed into its easily accessible centre. With its cobbled lanes, canals, rivers, museums and botanical gardens, cafes and pubs, libraries and galleries, there is no shortage of things to do and see.
Oxford is widely considered a very walkable city with many attractions close together. Our drop off/pick up point is outside the Randolph Hotel right in the centre of Oxford, steps away from University of Oxford Colleges and 13 minutes by foot from Thames River. Boat trips along the river are popular and last between 45 mins and 1 Hr 30 mins.
Our coach departs from Oxford at 16.30 so please allow enough time to get back to the pickup point.
