St Michael's Chesterton Peterborough , a 13th Century church on the edge of the suburbs of Peterborough near the A1. There are memorials to the Beville family, landed gentry from Huntingdonshire who were descendants of William the Conqueror's cohort, and some of them went to Virginia in the 17th century. Also there is acknowledgement to John Dryden who was born in Aldwincle in Northamptonshire, and was a poet laureate in late 17th Britain.
