Chris Barron is coming to talk about the London and North Eastern Railway Company.

The LNER existed for only 25 years from the "grouping" of railway companies in 1923 to nationalisation in 1948. In that short time it established a worldwide reputation for technical innovation and the quality of its its express passenger trains.

Chris is one of the trustees of Doncaster museum and worked on the railways for most of his life. A very good speaker so do come along. You will not be bored!!
